Either all the fashion companies decided to make their dress sizes bigger than they really are or I lost one dress size on my most recent trip to a very expensive city. Coz I went to Macy's with my mother today and just for the fun of it, I picked some outfits that I really liked but can't actually afford and tried them on. They didn't have 'em in my size (or the size that I thought I was) so I grabbed a few outfits that were one size smaller and a couple that were one size bigger. And voila, nothing feels better than being able to slip into a size smaller than what I thought I was. Hahaha. What a great way to start the New Year.
I lost one dress size just by going to a very expensive city and walking it and not being able to afford their darn food. Maybe spending 36 hours waiting for flights and getting stuck due to a snowstorm also has something to do with it. Ha, who knows.
All I care about not is that I lost one dress size without really trying. So now I'm all pumped up to go to the gym and go on that detox diet that my friend Ann has been talking about.
We'll see. Coz you know what, I am ready for a healthy body - and a body that can climb up to the top of Mt. Whitney. Hahaha. That sounded like a poem, didn't it?
